  5. Here’s What Stood Out to Us at the ModMed Momentum Conference 2025

This past weekend, the Talkie.ai team had the opportunity to attend the ModMed Momentum Conference in Orlando, Florida.

Throughout the event, we had dozens of meaningful conversations—about AI in healthcare, patient access, front desk automation, and what’s coming next for medical practices. 

Here’s a short summary of our experience.

Great Conversations (and Future Podcasts)

The most gratifying part of the conference for the Talkie team was the conversations with clinicians, administrators, tech leaders, and other attendees.

One thing was clear from the conversations at our booth: AI agents are a solution that practices are actively exploring today, and the interest is only growing. From reducing call volume to improving patient access, many attendees told us they’re evaluating AI agents as a practical way to overcome everyday challenges. It was exciting to see how many clinics—large and small—are thinking seriously about integrating AI into their front desk workflows.

What stood out in these conversations was how important integration and flexibility are. Which is why conference attendees appreciated it when we told them that our AI agents are not only deeply integrated with ModMed EMA—they’re also highly customizable to match each practice’s specific workflows and priorities. Whether it’s scheduling, Rx refills, or patient intake, we build to fit the way your team already works.

Drawing a Crowd

We were proud to sponsor one of the more fun (and popular) activities in the exhibit hall: an AI-powered sketchbot. Visitors could stop by, get their portraits sketched live by a drawing bot, and walk away with a custom souvenir.
